A family bungalow consisting of a main bedroom with double bed and a second bedroom with 2 or 3 single beds have been build at La Petite Traversee to be able to accommodate families planning to visit us.
La Petite Traversee has another first for St Marie as they have just added a 10 seater glass bottom boat to be able to give clients a different view of the beautiful reef around Ile Aux Nattes
Solo adventurer Riaan Manser has a fascination with going round the outside. The first man to cycle the perimeter of Africa is now attempting to become the first person to circumnavigate the Madagascan coast by kayak, alone and unaided. Riaan manage to visit La Petite Traversee shortly after his departure from Tamatave on the east coast of Madagascar

New Cocktail Bar Feb/March 2009
During the quiet months of Feb/March we have decided to add a new cocktail bar to La Petite Traversee. The Lucky Dube Cocktail bar will be housed in an old 9m wooden boat and keep an eye on this page to show you how we progress.
Cyclone Jade hits St Marie and Ile Aux Nattes April 2009
Cyclone Jade hit the island of St Marie and Ile Aux Nattes the early hours of Monday morning (06/04/09) with wind speeds of up to 145 kph. It lasted till about 02h00 Tuesday morning with not too much damage done to La Petite Traversee.
